ENTERTAINMENT: NAIRA MARLEY - 7 Years A Jail Bird!!?!!

So... This drama started with Adekunle Gold's wife Simi making social media posts about yahoo boys which ruffled quite a few 'weird feathers' especially in the entertainment scene as they came for her, declaring that her husband (famous for his epic photoshop gimmicks with celebrities) used to be their go-to guy when they needed documents photo-shopped (is there even a word like that? 🤔 sic!).

Then came broda Naira Marley in all his pomp, declaring his being a yahoo boy and taunting my dear runaway girlfriend Simi to no end. Older celebrities like Rugged Man tried to wade in only to get abuse hurled at them... Then, BANG! (like my mother's legendary backhand slap) the big eagle, EFCC swooped and arrested Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, one mumu instagram ugly slay king (that calls forth his likes the way Sauron used to call forth Frodo with the ring in Lords of the Ring) and some others.

Zlatan Ibile and the others were let out on bail but Naira Marley was held back!!! Why na!? Are his village people at work? 

Well, the official story from the efcc is that he was found in possession of a laptop with incriminating evidence which his mumu management released a statement saying the laptop was borrowed so he could post songs online (Awon werey oloribu jati jati! 😣). If at his level of fame, clout and fandom, he cannot own a laptop, shouldn't he use his pant and do rituals for money and Benz? I'm just thinking aloud o... Because ordinary me sef, I've dashed somebody laptop before dammit. Anyways, if laptop no be him own, I'm sure him and his management will provide abi produce the owner of the laptop with  such heavy incriminating evidence that warrants the efcc refusing him ordinary administrative bail.

On the other hand, he was also found with credit cards belonging to other people with Oyinbo names o and it was found that transactions had been made. Hehehehehe. Naija! 

Long story short. He has been charged to court on 11 counts with a highly possible potential 7 year jail term smiling at him with glee. There's the option of paying 5 million naira fine (which is cheap and easy to do) but it comes with him also forfeiting abi refunding the total sum which he has scammed using those cards, it's clones or the lappy... Ngwanu! Ije Oma nwannem!

You want to ask, 'who has cursed Nigerian youth?' that they can't seem to reason straight anymore abi? Oh well... If you ask me, na who I go ask kwanu? I honestly believe the EFCC will make a scape goat of the young man but then again like Falz said, this is Nigeria you no fit know finish...  

In the end, Mrs Adekunle Gold has had the last laugh, no?
