MOVIES: GAME OF THRONES Season 8 Premiere!

Game of Thrones this...G.O.T that. Una be shouting "Winter is here!!!" up and down.. .winter for where? Winter de ya side? Is this sun not shining in ya side? I don taya for una o. And if you're like one of us who hasn't bothered to see an episode or even a trailer of this thing that it seems the world is going crazy about, then make una gather round make we take selfie. 📸

The craze is officially on as the final season (Na so them talk o) actually premiered around 2am this morning and trust oyimbo peepu na. They just know how to take it to the extreme as this short video below shows. ..Them even de pour themselves beer (e be like Heineken o abi the color look like bud sef.. .Beer pros, am I correct?) 

The first thing that concerns me is that they say it's a season when it's only 6 episodes long as against the standard 13 episodes per season (as in, an episode per week for 13 weeks in a quarter of the year)... Seasons 1 to 6 had 10 episodes each, season 7 had 7 episodes... Weird! Wetin de work these Oyinbo people sef?

Here are some fun G.O.T facts you'd love though;

1. No single character has appeared in all episodes to date. Only 3 characters have even appeared in every episode of a particular season. Cersei Lannister & King Jeffrey were in every episode of season 1 while Tyrone Lannister was in all episodes of season 2 & 5.

According to mathematicians who analyzed the book, Tyrone Lannister is the main character in the movie as he's the character who interacted with others the most.

2. In season 1, Daernerys Targaryen played by Emilia Clarke got stuck on the toilet seat during a bathroom break after eating the fake horses heart and getting covered in so much fake blood (sic! )🤢

She said she was told it would taste like gummy bears they lied obviously as it was disgusting to eat. 😂

3. Iwan Rheon who plays the villain Ramsay Snow almost got the role to play Jon Snow as it was down to himself and  Kit Harrington (who finally got the role) in auditions.

4.  Author of the book, George R. R Martin almost did us a Stan Lee with a cameo in the original pilot which was shot in Morocco, but that whole pilot was scrapped and re-shot. Sigh!

5. The name Khaleesi is actually a title meaning queen in Dothraki but it's caught on like wild fire with fans accepting it as a proper name. It even became the 755th most popular baby name in 2014 too.
