NEW MUSIC: AUGUST- 2 Lives!

July has definitely turned out to be an awesome month for music lovers all over the world as we experienced greatness and drama unfold all round especially in the latter parts of the month. 

First it was Beyonce with the Lion King album where she featured some of Nigeria's finest acts; Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Yemi Alade and Burna Boy...in fact, Burna was so good on the track he was featured on (Ja Ara É) that Queen Bey was scared to sing on the song 😂 

Then the OG, Nas also put out a barn storming album titled  The Lost Tapes 2 which is pretty much an all star team up of 'who is who' in Hip Hop music right now. 

The 16 track sequel to his similarly named 1999 release features Swizz Beatz, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Eric Hudson, RZA, Alchemist, Pete Rock and so many more either as producers or co-artistes.

Then came ogbeni Burna riding on the crest of the traction created by his feature on the Lion King project! Gbas gbos! Everywhere burst! African Giant! Mad ting! 😂

Super imposing himself on the 10 naira note and nodding his head like a boss.
If you honestly think some of the content of the album that features the likes of Serani, Future, Damian 'junior gong' Marley, Zlatan and Angelique Kidjo amongst others stirs controversy and discourse, then I think you should go watch the video of listening party... You'll get a clear picture of the fact that Burna knew all along what he had up his sleeves.

Of course we had the incident of young Mr Adeleke (the future governor of Osun state 😂) Davido in a nasty collaboration with RnB enfant terriblé Chris Brown on the typically enjoyable Blow My Mind which dropped on the 25th of July.

Then in the midst of all this awesomeness, Zaheer popularly known as Ycee tweets his own bit of incredulousness 😂

As seen with the amount of retweets and likes, the fella did get good traction as well as the attention of his fans and music business enthusiasts such as Ovie Ofugara, the brain behind the world famous NotJustOk brand.


Following the trend, Port Harcourt based good boy gone bad, lap dancer 😂, beard gang alté singer August Chuks who left his last management under a cloud has been posting up a storm about forth coming music.

 


August Chuks is known in these parts for great music and now, he has chosen to threaten the whole world about this forthcoming piece. We therefore humbly wait in anticipation... You should too.
