ENTERTAINMENT: Kaydee Numbere Is PSYCHO!!!
Kaydee Numbere is like the Eminem of gospel music. Writing complex compound music syllables that sound so damned easy to the ear but in practicum, are like those high risk gymnastic stunts that begin with don't try this at home.
This typical Pastor's son has gone against every single grain of what we have previously known as church music in Nigeria from his writing, to his arrangement of the music up to his stage performances that are usually full of verve, plenty plenty shenanigans and showanship sometimes reminding us of legendary arsenal coach Arsene Wenger's penchant for perfect football. Yes! He's a die-hard Arsenal fan and mind numbing perfectionist with his music!
The creative maverick has spared no punches when it comes to the quality of the material he puts out and his forthcoming album, The Heirloom is a testament of that character trait. Featuring some of the finest producers available and international contributions on the instrumentation, this project promises to thrill as much as the man himself. The writing credits features his late father, the great Apostle G.D Numbere, his siblings Toki and Tammy, international contributor Jim Cowan and the ridiculous Prinx Emmanuel.
Talking features, you should absolutely look forward to hearing Sensational Bamidele cry on Fa-fa, Toks Nnamani with the riffs and runs with his quick silver voice on The Worship Medley and the prodigiously talented Victoria Japhet sing those piercing notes with great dexterity on I am The Lord remix. I only wonder why K.O Baba isn't listed among the credits as a great supplier of banter. Sic! 😜
It is also worthy of note that the album art features photography from his beeyuutiful, bespectacled wife Onyinye Senna Numbere who by the way, is a great lipsync rapper too.😁 (aaah! I should be bought shawarma and fresh pineapple juice for this free hype o!)
Having had the glorious opportunity to listen to a number of songs in The Heirloom album, I find it fitting as a music purists haven. Kaydee is psycho! Kaydee has gone rogue on what has hitherto been perceived as church music! Him and his crazy pear gang have scattered things!
Long and short of the story sha is that, I have threatened to leak some of the songs from the album since...Kaydee shakara too much but him don beg me low key and promise to no abuse Unai Emery again. 😂😂😂
Click the link below and enjoy one of the spunky, supercalafragalistikespialadocious songs from The Heirloom jare. Thank me later.
